Birds

A variety of over 60 bird species visit Parkview throughout the year. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to hear a Lyrebird going through his repertoire! Willie Wagtails sing late night and in the early morning, when Kookaburras and Galahs join in to the chorus with theYellow Crested Cockatoos.

Jenny and Blue Wrens chatter and Black Cockatoos squawk as they fly by with their yellow striped tails flaring on their way to the Pine Plantations for their daily pinecones.

Look for Doves going by the fountain, Wonga Pigeons calling to each other, and brightly coloured Rosella's and Rainbow Lorikeets wherever you look.

Birdwatchers come and enjoy the experience - and bring your clubs and families along!
You might spot a Rufus Whistler, a Bronze Wing Pigeon, or even a White Winged Triller.
